One Body, One Nation

Sadhguru: The land of Nepal, home to about ten of the world's highest mountain peaks, was established by yogis and mystics as a living, tantric body.   Nepal Flag
Nepal Flag

The flag of Nepal is the only national flag in the world that is neither a square nor a rectangle. The two triangles represent the Himalayan Mountains, as well as their two major religions - Hinduism and Buddhism.

The crimson red interior of the flag signifies the bravery of the Nepalese people, and the blue border symbolizes the prevailing peace and harmony present nationwide since the age of Gautama Buddha, who was born in this region.

Yummy Yomari

In Newari language, Yomari means 'sweetmeat'. It is a sweet bread made with rice flour dough, shaped like a fig and then steamed.

The Yomari Punhi is a harvest celebration in Nepal that is of great significance to the Newari people and this delicious delicacy is offered to the goddess of grain, ‘Annapurna’ during the full moon day of this festival.

It is believed that whoever prepares Yomari on Marga Shukla Purnima will be blessed with wealth and prosperity.

What to say of sizes when
a minuscule called Man assumes
self-presumed significance
As the snow melts in the
summer-shine to become
one with the sod, so shall
You my Man
